My Favorite GOSH Products !

Hello dolls, hope you are all doing well ! Its good to be back to keep writing some posts finally. Being a beauty addict ,I have a list of my top five beauty brands , and GOSH are always up there.  GOSH is  a high quality, cruelty free, beautiful brand that keep their prices consistently fair. 

Every time  when my  box of goodies arrive, I am  always  over the moon! There are so many products we need to talk about today. I’ll try not to ramble on too much, but do forgive me if I do because I am SO, so happy with the selection!

Let’s start with my favorites; the absolutely wonderful selection of products.

GOSH My Favorite Mascara 

Mascara is a very personal thing and it is always an essential for a beauty lover like me. I honestly prefer Mascara more than the fake lashes ! My Favorite Mascara is designed to be an everyday mascara, giving a natural, healthy look to the lashes. This mascara is infused with oak extract to nourish the lashes, which can become brittle with everyday makeup wear. The fiber brush is designed to catch every lash, while separating and giving an lengthened look. What’s more, My Favorite Mascara is designed to be removed with just warm water (38 degrees).

GOSH Lumi Drops Illuminating Highlighter

If a radiant glow is the look you’re going for then the GOSH Lumi drops Illuminating highlighter  is just the product for you! The light reflecting pigments  are incredibly fine, giving a beautiful sheen to the skin rather than glitter on the face. The highlighter  shade is sheer but can be built up easily and gives the most beautiful glow. The highlighter is easy to dispense from the dropper, has a lightweight feel and blends beautifully.

GOSH Primer Plus + Skin Adaptor

This is one of the best product for pairing down your makeup routine. This products looks like a foundation with the feel of a tinted moisturizer, while also containing primer properties. Its an universal tone that would suit all the skin. The magic is, when you warm them between your fingers and apply, they change the color and adapt to your skin . The oak extract in this product contains antioxidants, which moisturize and smooth the skin.

GOSH Banana Powder

When in doubt, choose Gosh Banana Powder, a shade that works on most skin tone and will become your holy grail. This banana powder is specially formulated to absorb excess oil and soften the appearance of pores. The truth is that , this powder works well on just about every skin tone and gives a gorgeous finish. It also sets the concealer very well. Overall a great product even for sensitive skin.

GOSH Strobe ‘N’Glow Kit

The Gosh Strobe ‘N Glow Kit comes with four different highlighter powders and GOSH claims it to be a  4-in-1 highlight and blush palette.  When applied to the skin they blend well and tend to have that glow from within appearance.

The palette itself contains four very different shades. These include a white/gold, a true gold, a bronze and a lavender highlighter . The lavender shade in the palette could be considered as a blush tone. These highlighters would suit all skin tones and I think would be a great addition to any makeup collection.

GOSH 24 h Pro Liner

This is a wax based liner that’s been designed to last for up to 24 hours, is waterproof, is perfume and paragon free and has a smudge on the end to create different looks. The shades are really pigmented too! I was really impressed with how dark the Black shade comes out.

GOSH Soft Matte Lipsticks 

I’ve raved about GOSH lipsticks FOREVER, they’re simply my favorite. The creamy formula ensures this lipstick applies smoothly and super easily, giving an even and intense colour result. They last for hours without budging and leave lips nourished and soft even with this matte range. You definitely need to try their lipstick range, they just excel in quality, which is amazing.

Review : Max Factor Color Elixir Lipsticks

Hey my loves, today I am back with another pretty lipsticks from Max Factor. This is the first time ever I tried these lipsticks, and I’m shocked to see myself getting addicted to it. To know more, why I’ll love ? please keep reading !

These are the MAX FACTOR COLOR ENRICH LIPSTICKS. In addition to this, I will also be reviewing their VELVET MATTE LIPSTICK.

PACKAGING : Max Factor Color Elixir Lipstick come in a glossy gold body. the packaging is really good. The lipstick case comes with the color of the lipstick at the bottom. They also have the name and the code number of the shade printed at the bottom. The cap clicks tight, and that makes it very travel friendly. Overall , the golden color gives it a very classy and stylish look.

Only one lipstick has a black case, but it looks so classy as well !

Now, lets look at the each shade !

From L to R : 25 Pink Blush , 825 Pink Brandy , 827 Bewitching Coral , 685 Mulberry.

Lipstick 685 Mulberry – As the name says, it is a pretty deep berry pink with hint of red undertones. It will suit well for all the skin tones. The lipstick is bright and doesn’t come out very deep as it looks in the tube. The shade has very fine shimmer particles on the tube which is really not noticeable on the lips, but it does help in adding a gorgeous sheen to the lips. 

Lipstick 827 Bewitching Coral – It is a pretty light coral shade, with a hint of pink & orange. It is such a flattering shade for summer especially. And the color would look great on fair and medium skin tones. For darker skin tones, pairing up with slightly darker lip liner will be really good. Or topping with other color and mixing two different colors can be a great choice of application. 

Lipstick 825 Pink Brandy – Oh, what can I say about this shade? A beautiful pink mauve shade, exceptionally good to wear for summer. This would absolutely go well on Fair, Medium and darker skin tones as well. It is a mid , not that too Barbie pink or very light one. You all know, wearing the perfect pink lipstick, is quite a hard choice, but this color adapts most of the skin tone.

Lipstick 25 Pink blush – If you want to have a moisturizing feel and matte finish for a striking lip look , then you for this ! Its a gorgeous dark pink color, that would look great on all skin tones. 

From Top to Bottom : 25 Pink Blush , 825 Pink Brandy , 827 Bewitching coral , 685 Mulberry.

TEXTURE: The lipstick has a very soft and creamy texture. It glides effortlessly on the lips.  Because of the creamy texture, you can easily skip a lip balm prior to application of this lipstick. 

The formula of the lipstick doesn’t settle onto fine lines or accentuate dryness on my lips. I really feel very light on my lips. And these lipsticks have faint vanilla fragrance, which fades slowly on application. 

WEAR ABILITY : All these lipsticks have a soft matte finish, and are infused with oils and butters and that the color glides smoothly across the lips. Is this accurate ? Its a resounding YES from me ! I found these very easy to apply. they don’t dry to that matte finish, that can leave you uncomfortable. Instead they dry to a soft sheen that allows you to move your lips without cracking. The colour pay off on the lip is just as pigmented as my arm swatches. So far so good. 

BEST TIPS FOR APPLICATION :

• Apply color to your lip brush from the base of your lipstick.
• Use the lip brush to fill in your lips.
• Blot with a tissue and reapply.
• Use Translucent powder between coats for longer lasting lipstick.  

Overall , The color stayed on my lips for about good 4 hours, without any touch ups. And this might differ from person to person. It feels very light on my lips, moisturizing ,with smooth and creamy formula.

This was sent to me a Sample PR package. And I would not hesitate to repurchase these when needed. The price point is affordable AED 70 – AED 80 range. You may also find them at local boots pharmacy.

MAC LAUNCHED A FRAGRANCE COLLECTION INSPIRED BY ITS MOST ICONIC LIPSTICKS!

So, everyone has been talking about something called Shadescents and its all over on the instagram, facebook, blogs, everywhere!

3….2…..1, here we go !

“Fragrance and “MAC Cosmetics” may not be two beauty keywords frequently associated together, but MAC appears to be trying to change that with Shadescents, a range of six fragrances inspired by and named after six of its most iconic Lipstick shades.

Brand fanatics will know that this isn’t actually MAC’s first foray into fragrance! Turquatic, a classic ocean – inspired scent, and the company’s take on floral, Air of style, launched in 2005 and 2007, respectively. However shadescents goes in a completely different direction and is the first range that takes direct inspiration from a makeup product.

This entire collection was launched during the holiday season ( I am already late, I know !!!)

The shadescents collection comes with six perfumes inspired by six of their most iconic lip colors.

They re-launched the lipsticks with special limited-edition packaging in tinted caps to match the lipsticks themselves along with color-coordinated fragrances.

The scents are all EAU DE PARFUMS and they are priced at $57 / AED 295 each for 50ml / 1.7 fl oz. The lipsticks are $17 each / AED 104 for 3g/0.1 oz with special edition packaging.

The six options include

• Heroine (purple, matte),
•  Ruby Woo (deep red, retro matte),
• Lady Danger (bright coral red, matte),
• Candy Yum-Yum (bright neon pink,matte),
• Velvet Teddy (neutral nude, matte) and
• Crème d’Nude (pale beige, cremesheen).

Crème d’Nude  – The Scent is described as an amber velvet musk which I find accurate.

Velvet Teddy – The scent is described as oriental amber with wild honey and creamy musk. This is definitely a sweet honey like scent with a bit of spice. If you like honey scents this will be right up your alley. The spice notes are prominent giving it a velvety feel.

Candy Yum Yum – The scent is extremely sweet described as fruity floral gourmand with pink guava

Lady Danger – The scent is described as a woody oriental floral with patchouli. It’s very spicy and masculine with a strong incense kind of vibe.

Ruby Woo –  The scent  is described as a woody floral. This has leather notes that makes it even deeper and more dramatic than Lady Danger.

Heroine  – The scent is described as woody leather with a primal feel. It’s the most masculine scent out of the lineup.

Overall a really interesting concept. I do think the creators of this collection managed to capture the lipstick in a scent that made sense. Scents are so personal and everyone has different tastes so I do not think these will be everyone’s cup of tea. My favorite is Ruby Woo but my husband is not a fan of it on me. If you’re near a MAC Store I’d recommend you definitely give these a look. They’re worth checking out and it’s always fun to play at the freestanding stores. If anything I love the special edition packaging of the lip colors – I’m tempted to buy velvet teddy .The color-coordinated caps and black base are so sleek and pretty!
