REVIEW : PALMER’S SHEA FORMULA MOISTURE REPAIR RAW SHEA SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER.

I often experience dull, dry, frizz and lackluster hair for days. I try to use different shampoo and conditioner along with the hair serums & styling products that gives some shine to my hair. But after trying a shampoo & conditioner, from the Shea range, it was a total game changer for me. Continue to read on how I revitalize my hair from boring to full of life again.

shampoo & conditioner

Palmer’s Shea formula moisture repair raw Shea shampoo & conditioner :

The first thing that I noticed from the packaging is that both the products contain no sulfates , parabens or mineral oil.

Its common that most of the shampoos contain sulfates or otherwise called as Sodium Laurel sulfate , SLS. However sulfates are too effective and it can dry the scalp, and people like me having an existing dry hair issue, using these kind of shampoos worsen them.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH PALMER’S RAW SHEA MOISTURE SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER:

The raw Shea butter included in this range is sustain ably resourced in West Africa, and its well known for its rich and super moisturizing properties. And this shampoo helps to enhance the shine and replenish moisture. If your hair is colored, then absolutely you don’t have to worry, these babies got you covered.  I absolutely loved the smell of the duo, and it can be tolerable to the ones who feel its quite overwhelming.

MAIN INGREDIENTS :

  • RAW SHEA BUTTER – It deeply moisturizes and repairs.
  • ARGAN OIL – It adds lot of shine.
  • GRAPE SEED OIL – Prevents dullness and protects the color on your hair.

UPON SHAMPOOING & CONDITIONING :

This shampoo gently cleanses my hair and it leaves my hair look well nourished. The shampoo is free from parabens , dyes and silicone and as it contains the raw Shea , it has helped me to tame my frizz hair. I also have a dry scalp, using this twice- thrice a week, it helps to get rid of that dryness giving them a hydration to the hair, and keep them moisturized.

I prefer to leave the conditioner for about two minutes on the wet hair. This conditioner helps to remove the product build up, and the raw Shea, argan oil and grape seed oil helps to clean and leave my hair feeling refreshed. This conditioner doesn’t weigh down my hair, but is great for leaving hair feeling soft, smooth and restores moisture loss.

However the  shine is seen from using it twice a week.

STYLING : Styling is quite easy after using this. Once i blow dry, the hair becomes very soft and due to its texture, i feel that my hair looks very clean and blow drying or flat ironing or curling them are so easy!

And above all, they both come in a large 473 ml bottles which will last you quite a while.

Here are few tips , to get that silky , clean hair while using a Sulfate free shampoo :

  1. Thoroughly wet your hair before applying sulfate free shampoo.
  2. Use less product than you think.
  3. Apply more water, instead of more product, the water will help activate the shampoo and spread it through your hair.
  4. shampoo twice.
  5. Rinse your hair thoroughly.

WOULD I USE THEM AGAIN ?  Yes, definitely.

WHERE CAN I BUY THEM ? They are still not available in the UAE, soon this amazing product is going to hit all the stores.

HOW MUCH ARE THEY PRICED AT ? Priced at $26, for the duo. And is currently available in the Amazon US and other US and UK stores.

Being the brand ambassador, of Palmer’s  this product was sent to me for personal use and for the purpose of reviewing them , however all my opinions are honest , tried & tested !

Until then,

xoxo
